Welcome
Welcome to the photography section of TheTimeChamber. For the last decade of running TheTimeChamber, the main website has always had a photography section tacked on to the side of it. Unfortunately, we haven’t ever really done much with it, other than sling up a random selection of photographs that we are pleased with and felt should be displayed somewhere. When we switched the website over to running on WordPress back in 2012, we added a few tutorial blogs and musings and got no further. But as the website has grown, along with our photography, we have kind of forgotten about it and left it dormant; revisiting every once in a while to make a few changes.
That was until a few years ago when we created photo.thetimechamber.co.uk and started another WordPress site to try and create a photography based section away from our Urban Exploration. We promptly forgot about it and got distracted by other things, got married, refurbished a house and generally concentrated on our respective careers. This wasn’t going too well and we couldn’t get it off the ground. We would rather be outside doing other things, than trying to find that code snippet or compile a selection of photos. In idly browsing the web we came across a WordPress theme that caught our eye and after installing it, the photo section was born proper. This was at the start of the 2020 lockdown, so things didn’t progress as fast as we had intended!
Normally, these sections on photography websites detail how the author(s) became interested in the hobby, but we covered that on our main website when we got into Urban Exploration and photography in general. Since then, our interest in photography has expanded beyond derelict buildings and into Landscape and Wildlife photography. The aim of this section of the website is to display the best of these photos in a series of galleries and blog posts, where our best will able to be purchased.

As part of the move to launch this section of the website, we are going to be selling a number of our photographs in limited runs. The photographs for purchase are viewable through the galleries / prints section of the website, but clicking on the image and then on the shopping trolley symbol.
